In April 2019, a week prior to the Salone del Mobile, SALONI reimagined the windows of the iconic Nilufar Gallery In Milan with an installation and an event dubbed “Salone di Saloni”.

The collaboration with the Gallery was inspired by a shared aesthetic and desire to transform spaces. As guests walked to the corner of Via della Spiga, the window of the Gallery greeted the viewer and invited guests to experience the way the dresses were personified and interacted together. Guest were teased by an invitation designed by Milan native, Jean Blancheart. The calligrapher also created an original logo which spelled out ‘Saloni not Salone’ as another cheeky take on the event.

The event itself was a cocktail party hosted by Nina Yashar, the gallery owner and Saloni Lodha.

The brand sees fashion as a means to explore cities through collaborations, bringing creative minds together bridging multiple disciplines and genres. This event was part of a larger series of events which aim to fuse creative energy and fun in the world of SALONI.
