The SALONI Story

SALONI is a womenswear brand and global creative studio founded in London by Saloni Lodha in 2011. Known for signature shapes, intricate embroideries, and exuberant prints, the brand has developed a multidimensional ecosystem where fashion intersects with cultural initiatives, immersive environments, and artistic collaborations.

The name SALONI (Hindi:सलोनी)—meaning “beautiful” or “unique” in Sanskrit captures the brand’s ethos of celebrating beauty in all its forms. Lodha’s Indian heritage and cosmopolitan worldview inform a ready-to-wear design language that fuses tradition with versatility, making SALONI synonymous with timeless elegance, ease, and joyful expression.

In parallel with the collections, the SALONI creative studio shares the brand’s expansive world through experiential activations such as Holi Saloni, staged in Rajasthan, India during the festival of Holi; Colour Walk at Le Bon Marché, Paris; and Saloni’s Salone at Nilufar Gallery, Milan, each creating immersive environments infused with playfulness and thoughtful cross-cultural dialogue. Initiatives like Connecting for India reflect Lodha’s commitment to sustaining craft traditions and fostering conversations across disciplines.

With studios in Bangkok, London, and Hong Kong, SALONI continues to evolve as both a fashion house and a cultural platform, dedicated to craftsmanship, community, and creative exchange.
