The SALONI spirit of effortless elegance is in full swing in this luminous set of images, the rhythmic play of colour, prints and patterns for SS/22 mirrored in the joyous energy of the photoshoot.

The campaign was lensed by young photographer, Paris-based Allyssa Heuze. Creative direction and styling were by long-time SALONI collaborator Nikhil Mansata. He says Allyssa's fresh and natural approach conveying "youthful, positive energy" was the perfect fit.

The collection brings together influences, including William Morris prints, rhythmic Ikat patterns and delicate Japanese Shibori. These dance across SALONI's signature effortlessly elegant shapes, including The GRACE dress with its off-the-shoulder neckline detail and fitted waist, whilst the Kurta PJ and Paige C trousers are reimagined in the radiant Rainbow Spectrum print.

Like all SALONI pieces, the navy TABITHA'S fitted waist and blouson bodice, with a fit-and-flare skirt, make it versatile enough to be paired with either white sneakers or elegant heels.

Indeed the photoshoot's fun and fluid energy show off to full effect how SALONI's elevated and versatile pieces can take the wearer anywhere. Allyssa, who grew up as one of six female siblings in the Philippines, recalls that her grandfather collected old cameras. She was fascinated by them, asking him to teach her photography from an early age. As a result, she became the "official" family photographer, recording the sisters' most memorable childhood moments and daily joys together.

"I subconsciously recreate that sense of togetherness," she says of her professional career. "I like it when the models forget they are working and feel a sense of freedom to enjoy the moment and interact with each other."

This approach is clear from the images which evoke the fresh and pure joys of childlike play, spontaneity and laughter, that point between childhood and adulthood when everything is known and unknown, wise yet innocent when we can see the extraordinary in the ordinary. In other words: pure magic.
