SALONI dinners always feel like a party at a home, and what better home than the former studio and apartment of artist Willem de Kooning. The artist’s apartment served as the perfect backdrop for Saloni Lodha to recreate the magic and let the friends of the brand immerse in her world in New York. The personal touch to everything and the dedication to detail by long-time collaborator Julia Wagner on creating something unforgettable, transported guests. Julia had previously collaborated with Saloni on Holi Saloni festival in Udaipur and brought a sense of the brand’s mystic into the space.

Set designer Julia Wagner turned the artist’s home into a SALONI home for 24 hours, curating special pieces of furniture with SALONI textiles

Guests were welcomed into a secret room from the apartment, where a long table painted by artist Dylan Bailey paid tribute to the famed Abstract Expressionist movement. An evening of a hearty vegetarian meal before the dance party kicked off, energised by drinks from Herball and tunes spun by another long-time collaborator of the brand, DJ Cosmo, kept everyone dancing until late.
