In late November 2022, SALONI hosted a festive dinner to celebrate the launch of the Holiday Capsule Collection at one of London’s best-kept secrets: the prestigious Nash and Brandon Rooms, located in the same building as the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA). Guests enjoyed sweeping views of The Mall, Big Ben, The London Eye and St James Park from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
This grand setting provided the perfect backdrop for an exquisite mise-en-scene designed by the label’s founder Saloni Lodha. In the space of just two days, Saloni transformed the two rooms into a series of beautiful and intimate spaces: a London “home” for the day.

The Grade 1 listed Regency style rooms designed by architect John Nash boast original cornicing atop soaring high ceilings and ornate plasterwork. Artist Sharan Ranshi’s beguiling illustrations for the cosmologically themed SALONI Holiday ’23 campaign were printed on monumental canvases and hung around the rooms. These larger-than-life goddesses lent the evening an air of special magic.
Florist Simone Gooch worked closely with Saloni to create floral arrangements encapsulating the SALONI spirit of playful elegance. Sweet peas, ranunculi and roses were arranged in gracefully understated bouquets as though freshly gathered from the garden.

Saloni spun magic by creating ad hoc atmospheric lighting for the rooms, with cosmic blue lights welcoming guests outside the building and at the premises foyer and staircases leading to the two rooms.
Chef Briony Lewton designed dinner, and a mixologist served classic cocktails in the Nash room, where a DJ also played music all night. After dinner guests returned to the Brandon Room for cocktails and danced the night away!
